How an entry is created

  1. 1. Submit a report

A consumer describes what happened, with charter dates, the base and any documentation held — contract, handover protocol, photographs and correspondence.

  2. 2. We review and publish

Reports are checked for plausibility and compared with other submissions about the same company. Once a pattern is documented, the entry is published.

  3. 3. Others stay informed

The next charterer can find the company in this register before booking, and the company may submit a right of reply at any time.

Had a bad experience? Help other sailors by reporting it.

Your report can be published anonymously. Contact details are used only for follow-up questions and are never shown on the site or passed to the company concerned.

Important disclaimer

Yachting Blacklist publishes complaints submitted by private consumers. Entries describe allegations and consumer experiences, not findings of a court or a public authority, and are not an accusation of criminal conduct. Every company named here may request a correction of factual errors and may submit a statement, which we publish in full alongside the entry.
